The Lively Foundation now has a wonderful new book to join the two others published by The Lively Foundation. The newest is COMING HOME TO INDIA. It tells the stories of Leslie Friedman’s dancing tours, travel experiences, and India’s fascinating history. Pictures are the front cover on the left and the back cover on the right.
Coming Home to India was launched at Stanford’s A Company of Authors, an annual event for writers connected to Stanford to present their new books. Response from the full, excited audience was enthusiastic. And more have purchased the book. Leslie’s tours were supported by the Fulbright Lectureship for India. The US State Dept extended the tour to Sri Lanka, Egypt, and Tunisia. Her unique performances and personality meant that every city where she had performed, invited her to come back. And she did; performing in larger theaters to thrilled critics and the public. All the other countries also asked her to return.

Here are Lively’s other two books. They make great gifts, but do not forget to make a gift to you. They are beautiful and interesting. It is summer time to follow the beauty of gardens (and cats and squirrels), and the wonder of butterflies. Leslie and Jonathan took care of them through all their life stages while Leslie and Jonathan searched for more willow leaves.
